Welcome Panel

“WELCOME PANEL” is a bronze panel of banned (forbidden) signs that are engraved onto bronze. I collected a variety of public forbidding signage and then used them to create my own prohibition signs inspired by daily experience. It is like recording the evidence that taboos of all sorts, enforcing social conventions, creating rituals of behavior, and cultural protocols always restrict and alter our minds.

In fact, boundaries, rules, and constrictions are the factors that tempt and encourage humans to do exactly the opposite, secretly wishing to indulge in all that is forbidden.
